"I'm Telling..."

Hello Blog-Buddies!

"I'm telling!" is something we sometimes hear at school.  However, this is not what I am talking about.

A while back I asked about whether to tell people or not about the surgery.  I have told my family members (kids, parents, sister, out... oops, I mean in-laws) and a couple of close friends.  (I do have great in-laws but I can't resist...)  All have been somewhat surprised, but all have been 100% supportive.  I guess the rule is to tell the people you love and trust.  Even if they disagree (none do in my case) they will support you.  

I must give special mention about my wife, Ruth.  She encouraged me to explore different options with our family doctor and has supported my decision to move forward with the procedure.  She came with me to meet with my new Barix friends in Toronto when Judy set up a chance to chat with some "graduates".  I am very fortunate.
